So August has come and gone, and I’m sure that because I’m on holiday from school it’s gone quicker than any other month! I’ve had a lovely August all in all. It was filled with a holiday, family time and time spent with friends too. These you lovely lot, are my August faves…
1. Jamberry Nails
If you read my recent blog post, you’ll know I’ve been trying Jamberry nail wraps during August. Unsure how I would get on with them, I ended up loving them! I tried a mixture of my samples for this look, and have created a couple of looks with accent nails ever since. I love how they make my nails look! There’s also a giveaway with the post so check out that too if you want to get your hands on some Jams too!
2. An Amazing Holiday
So in August I was lucky to have the most amazing holiday with the Mr. Booked just 2 days before we jetted off, it was all a bit of a whirlwind. But we had such a lovely time and it was absolutely what we needed. I shared my holiday outfits in a post recently and I’ll also be reviewing the hotel we stopped in very soon so look out for that! Totally wish I was back on holiday right now. Just look at that sea!
3. Office Supplies
This month I was very kindly sent some amazing office products from the very lovely people at Fellowes to help me to write a blog post. They’re so useful for me as an early years teacher and look great in my office. They’ve definitely helped me in August to get organised for back to school in Septmeber. Fellowes are giving a product away that I featured so check out my post if you want to know how to enter. (Yes, I’m being too good to you at the moment with all of these amazing competitions!!!)
4. Time Spent with Friends
I totally knew it already, but this month has confirmed to me how important it is to spend quality time with friends. I’m surrounded by some wonderful people in my life and I’m so grateful for this. The above pic was taken when I went out for a drink and cake with a friend and we had a great time. It was at a cute little cafe called Frais just incase you were wondering. And yes, that cake was as good as it looks!
5. Sanctuary Spa Wet Skin Moisture Miracle
I’ve been absolutely loving this product this month! After being given a couple of samples at school (actually by another blogger), I was eager to give this product a go. And it didn’t disappoint! So easy to apply and smells amazing, I can’t get enough. You literally shower, put it on and then get out the shower and continue as normal – yes no excessive rubbing in and waiting for it to dry involved! I’m nearly all out of samples and will definitely be getting the full-sized bottle soon. It’s available at Boots here if you want to try it for yourself.
So these are my faves this month. What do you think? What are your favourites for August? Let me know in the comments!
Until next time…
