So now December has come to an end, I thought it was about time I shared my December faves! It’s mad to believe that we have seen the last month of the year, although for me personally the year finished on a high (more about that later!). There has been quite a few things I’ve been loving this during this final month of the year so let’s get onto my December faves…
So clearly a major part of December is Christmas. I had a lovely Christmas this year, spent largely with family and friends. It was chilled and filled with yummy food, just the way I like it! Christmas is probably my fave time of the year, just because people are generally happy and excited and its a good excuse to spend time with loved ones.
2. Festive Food
I’ve been loving festive food this December. Mince pies, Christmas tree shaped crumpets…the list is endless! And one of the yummiest things I had in December was this festive chocolate log cake thingy that I enjoyed at an M&S cafe. I continue to be all about the chocolate as per usual and this didn’t disappoint. Plus, I liked how it was presented. I could eat it again right about now!
3. Pretty Nails
Yes, I know my nails often make my monthly favourites posts. But I do really love these! They’re a set from Jamberry that I was sent from the lovely Laila. I thought that they were great Wintery nails. I know my application still needs a bit of work, but I am improving! You can find out more about Jamberry nail wraps in a review I did last summer.
4. A Surprise Gift
So usually at Christmas, the hubs and I let each other know what we would like gifts-wise, so there’s usually very few surprises. But this year, this gift was a gorgeous surprise! I was given it at the very end of Christmas day once we had returned home from celebrating with family, and the gift card said “to my mummy”! If you haven’t seen across my social media, I very recently announced that I am expecting which is super exciting! Anyhoo, inside the box was this lovely selection of goodies which I can’t wait to try. I was so impressed with my fab husband for thinking of such a sweet and thoughtful gift. It was from Letterbox Gifts and they also stock lots of other lovely gifts too.
5. Plenty of Sparkles
I was so pleased with this combo of goodies that I was sent in December from the lovely people at Quiz. I actually included this outfit in a post about rocking your Christmas party. Whilst I didn’t actually get chance to wear it in December with going out a lot less than normal, I’ve got an event coming up soon that I’m totally wearing it for. I can’t wait!
So these are my December faves. What do you think? What did you love in December? Let me know in the comments!
Until next time…
