So the first month of 2019 has come and gone, therefore I thought it was time for January faves! I managed to completely forget to do December faves – I blame baby brain! – so sorry about that! My monthly faves posts are so fun to write so gutted to have missed a month out. Heyho, let’s move on anyway to what I was loving throughout the month of January…
1. Yummy Food
So I was lucky to enjoy plenty of yummy food throughout January. One of my faves has to be this chocolate pot at The Highfield. If you are an avid reader of this blog, you might recognise this dish from one of my recent posts – baby friendly places to visit in Birmingham – Edgbaston – and it was so good! I hope I can continue to enjoy good food (and drinks!) throughout February too.
2. Bibado Goodies
In January, I was very lucky to receive* some goodies from the lovely people at Bibado. It was absolutely perfect timing, as we started to wean little one in January. Now, I’m sure all babies are the same, but she is one messy eater! The original Bibado covers absolutely everything when she is in the high chair so thankfully her clothes don’t get in a state. I was also sent the all-day neckerchief which is equally as fab – and totally lasts all day! I won’t go into too much detail as I’ll be doing a blog post reviewing them very soon, but I would definitely recommend them both. And if you did want to get your hands on them they’ve given me some discount codes to share with you lovely lot. For 2 Bibados for £30, use the code JEAN30, and for free delivery use the code JEAN. Here’s the link straight to their shop.
3. Fun with My Monkey
Throughout January, I’ve had lots of fun with my little cheeky monkey. Don’t get me wrong, we have been having plenty of fun since the day she was born. And we have attended lots of classes since July. But I think I’ve been treasuring our time more than ever recently because I’m due to return back to work very soon. I feel so lucky and grateful that we have managed to have so much time together, and I’ll treasure these memories forever. Here is a picture of her at Mini Monsters, a group we attend weekly led by Musical Mum. Little one loves musical and sensory items and that is so lovely to see.
4. Bright Nails
Coming into the new year, and to January especially, I was ready to brighten up my mood. And how better than with nails? I couldn’t resist this gorge combo, and even managed to get them to match my jumper! I had them done at Carla’s Beauty Room, and had an eyebrow tint too. It was nice to just have a bit of me time. Gotta love a bit of self-care, eh?
5. Safari Themed Playroom
Throughout January we were working on little one’s safari themed playroom. I mean she’s only 6 months old but that doesn’t matter – before we know it she will be into absolutely everything! We fell in love with this rug, and it is the main focus of the room. And even since this photo was taken the room has changed a lot. It has been lots of fun picking out different bits of furniture and accessories for this room, and I’m sure it’ll continue into February too!
So these would have to be my January faves. What were you loving last month? Let me know in the comments!
Until next time…
*These items were gifted for me to try and review. I decided to include them in my January faves because I really love them. I would never share anything that I didn’t love myself.
