March Faves

March Faves cover

So it’s that time again, monthly favourites are upon us! As ever, another month has been and gone and what a month it has been. I’m totally ready for April, probably my fave month of the year. So let’s get onto my March faves and I’ll let you know what I have been loving!

1. Healthy Eating March Faves healthy eating

So with a bubba on board, I’ve been trying my very hardest to eat healthily throughout my pregnancy. Of course there has been plenty of chocolate and sweet treats (oops!), but I’ve also been trying to eat fruit and veg as much as I can. My fave combo has to be banana and strawberries – my 2 favourite fruits. I’m also trying to drink water when I can too, although I’ve been craving my favourite pop (Fanta fruit twist, don’t you know) which probably isn’t ideal. Ahh well, things in moderation I guess! I’ll try to keep on the healthy eating train throughout April.

2. Shea Moisture Argan Oil and Almond Milk Smooth and Tame Shampoo and Conditioner

So in March I was sent this combo of products from Shea Moisture to review on the blog. As soon as they arrived, I couldn’t wait to get them on my hair and give them a try! Initially I was impressed with the packaging and thought they looked pretty much at home in my shower. Next came to trying them. As soon as I opened the shampoo I fell in love with the scent. It didn’t foam as much as I’m used to with the shampoos I usually use, but am aware that more ‘natural’ shampoos tend to be this way. The conditioner was pretty much the same consistency as any other conditioner I’ve used and went on well. My only issue was getting the pump to work, although I always seem to have that problem! I’m fine with scooping it out until I can work out how to do it, haha what am I like?! Expect a full on review post when I have been using the products for a bit longer.

3. Mother’s Day

March Faves mothers day

So I’m used to celebrating Mother’s Day, but this was the first year I got presents myself! You might remember my fab Hubby got me a gift from the bump both for Christmas (see my December faves) and Valentine’s Day (see my February faves), so he couldn’t resist this Mother’s Day. Perhaps he had also seen my Mother’s Day Gifts for Mums to Be and thought it was a bit of hint, who knows?! Anyhoo, these were the lovely gifts he got me. Of course chocolate always goes down well, and he’s fully aware of that. But it was also lovely to have the mug, socks and key ring as a little reminder that I will soon be a momma to my girlie! We spent the actual day with friends who had travelled over from Dubai, but I did get to see my lovely momma a few days later.

4. Seb and Roo Silicone Teething Necklaces

In March I saw a special offer from Seb and Roo, so made sure I got my hands on these teething necklaces from their Etsy shop. I just love the idea of this concept – wearing pretty jewellery (in lots of lovely colours too), but also knowing that it is safe for your baby to have a chew on when they feel the need! So far, I have 3 teething necklaces from Seb and Roo, but I’m sure I’ll end up buying a few more, even before baby girl arrives. I think it might be a bit of an addiction but I just can’t help it!

5. EOS Lip Balm

March Faves eos lip balm

So I’m totally late to the party with this product as have only just got round to trying it. However, when I spotted it whilst out shopping at TK Maxx I couldn’t resist trying it to see if it would live up to the hype…and I must say I love it! I adore the flavour, the fact that it is ready to go on your lips so no messing around with fingers, and the fact that it keeps my lips super smooth for ages. I defo think I need to get my hands on some more flavours, as you can never have too many lipbalms right?!

So these would have to be my March faves. What were you loving this month? Let me know in the comments!

Until next time…

Jean xoxo
