March Faves

March Faves

So I can’t actually believe it’s that time again! March has been and gone, and now we are in April. March was a funny old month, so I’m pretty glad it’s over. Plus April is probably one of my favourite months of the year as it’s my birthday month yay! It’ll hopefully be full of lots of fun things and time spent with my fave people. Right now, let’s get on to my top 5 things from the month of March…

1.Freddie’s Flowers

So in March I was very kindly sent some beautiful flowers from the lovely people at Freddie’s Flowers. It’s basically a flower subscription service, in which beautiful flowers are sent directly to your front door on a weekly basis. I really loved the packaging, and obviously the flowers inside were beautiful too. There was also lots of information provided inside the packaging too about the flowers and arranging them. I’ll be writing a post about my experience very soon so make sure you look out for that! It’s really lovely getting flowers without even having to leave the house.

2. Drinking water

So I recently won this water bottle from the brand ‘Aladdin’ as part of a yoga themed prize. I really love the design of the bottle and as soon as I received it I knew I had to use it on a daily basis. I take it to work with me and make sure I fill it up as much as possible. I know it’s probably meant for me to use when I exercise, but with such a pretty bottle I can’t help but keep it on my desk. I know that in the past I’ve not been drinking enough water, but this has definitely changed since this bottle came into my life. Plus, I feel so much better for it. If you fancy getting one for yourself, you can pick up one from Dunelm Mill here.

3. Time spent with family and friends

So whilst in March there has been some sad times spent together as a family, there has also been some happy times too. In March my Hubster and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary and we also had a special birthday for my dad. Plus, I met up with some lovely friends this month for a catch up and even more celebrating. There is nothing I love more than spending time with people who are important to me as much as I can. This snap is of me ready for my anniversary meal out at our wedding venue, rocking a top I picked up from my recent Children’s Society charity shop haul.

4. More self-care

So if you read my February faves, you’ll know I’ve been trying to take care of myself more and engage in more self-care such as pampering myself and taking more baths. Well in March I was very lucky to be treated to an at home blow dry from the fab people at Blow ltd. They’ve got very exciting news coming this month, and I will be coinciding this with a blog post, so look out for that over the coming weeks. I love taking some time out and have a little treat as it really makes all the difference to how I feel.

5. Aspire Style fashion show

At the beginning of March, I was invited to the Aspire Style fashion show at my local store. It included a fashion show of new pieces for Spring/Summer, a goodie bag, a bit of fizz and 15% off everything in the store. I took my lovely momma with me and we had the best time! It was great to see how the new pieces looked on the gorgeous models and of course do some shopping with a great discount. These are some of the fab Katie Loxton pouches they have in store which I have totally fallen in love with. Of course, my momma and I picked up some fab bits, and I’ll be sharing them with you in a blog post coming soon.

So these are my favourites from March. What do you think? Have you got any March faves? Let me know in the comments below!

Until next time…

Jean xoxo
