Mother’s Day Gifts for Mums to Be

Mother's Day Gifts for Mums to Be cover

So, it’s Mother’s Day very soon, have you got yourself sorted?  You may remember last year I did quite a general Mother’s Day gift guide and that was fun to do. However, as I’m pregnant this year, and know a few people who are also expecting, I thought it might be a nice to share some Mother’s Day gifts for mums to be! Of course, as a mum to be you don’t expect to get gifts, but a little something “from the bump” is always a nice thing to receive! So I’ve scoured the internet and here are a few cute ideas that I’ve come across.

I’ve featured NOTHS a couple of times before in posts on the blog including some of the best places to shop online. It’s a firm favourite of mine for when I want to a buy a beautiful gift for that someone special. There’s a massive range of lovely items for mums to be on NOTHS and here are some of my faves.

Personalised Mum To Be Bed Socks, £15

Mother's Day Gifts for Mums to Be socks

I don’t know about you, but I always have cold feet. Especially with the currently crazy arctic weather we are experiencing here in the UK! During pregnancy my feet seem to get colder than ever, and this might be the case for other expectant ladies too. So I just had to include these cute socks in this list! They come in different colours and you can choose from mohair and cashmere.

Non Alcoholic Seedlip Spice And Tonic Gift Pack, £32

Mother's Day Gifts for Mums to Be drink

So pregnancy means no alcohol so I couldn’t include anything alcoholic in this guide. Therefore, I found the next best thing! This gift set would make you feel as if you were enjoying a nice tipple, and I’m sure it would taste pretty much like an alcoholic beverage anyway! What a lovely treat for a momma to be.

Mum To Be’ Letterbox Gift Set, £29.95

Mother's Day Gifts for Mums to Be letterbox gift

If you’re a regular blog reader you’ll have seen me feature this set before in my December Faves. That’s because my lovely husband gave me it as a Christmas present ‘from the bump’. So I just had to include it in this guide! The box includes tea, lip balm, bump balm, soap and candles and it is such a special gift to receive.

I’m also a big fan of Prezzybox and they have some great Mother’s Day Gifts currently on their website. These are my pick of the ones I think would go down well with mums to be.

Massage Cushion, £11.99

Mother's Day Gifts for Mums to Be massage cushion

This massage cushion has a gentle vibrating motion which works to soothe the neck, feet, legs and lower back – those parts that seem to hurt the most when you’re pregnant! It has a soft fabric outer so it is extremely comforting and cuddly and I’m sure would be an absolute lifesaver for any pregnant woman.

Personalised Someone Special Crystal Block, £12.99

Mother's Day Gifts for Mums to Be crystal block

I thought that this might make a cute gift ‘from the bump’ as it can be personalised with up to 2 lines. This crystal block would definitely be a nice keepsake for years to come. However, if this item isn’t for you, Prezzybox have lots of other personalised gifts that might take your fancy for that lovely lady.

Afternoon Tea for Two at Patisserie Valerie with Cake Gift Box, £35

Mother's Day Gifts for Mums to Be afternoon tea

I’m obsessed with afternoon tea at the best of times, let alone when I’m pregnant and all I want is sweet treats! I’m sure lots of other mommas to be are in the same boat so think this could make a great gift. Prezzybox also offer afternoon tea at other venues and at various price points.

Find me a gift

I had never really heard of this website before, until I came across some great mum to be gifts at Find Me a Gift. These were the ones I liked the best.

The Baby Selfie Kit, £4.99

Mother's Day Gifts for Mums to Be baby selfies

I mean, how cool is this?! I know it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I think it is so much fun! Especially as many mums can’t resist taking copious amounts of pictures of their little bundles of joy, so why not dress them up in the process?! This would be quite a quirky gift to receive.

Pregnancy Journal, £11.99

Mother's Day Gifts for Mums to Be pregnancy journal

This would be a nice gift to get, especially for a lady who has only recently found out she is pregnant. Pregnancy journals are a great way to record each stage of your pregnancy, as well as keeping you super organised with space to write down appointments etc! It’s also a nice thing to keep hold of and read back on once the baby has arrived.

Baby Dreams Wish Jar, £11.99

Mother's Day Gifts for Mums to Be wish jar

This wish jar can be filled with wonderful wishes to welcome the new bundle of joy into the world! The glass message jar comes with 100 wish cards and a pen. Each card has ‘wish for you’ printed on one side, and is blank on the other ready for a message to be written. It would be lovely to receive this gift for Mother’s Day with some wishes already written inside the jar. Or perhaps it could be saved for an event like a baby shower when family and friends could all get involved.

John Lewis

John Lewis is one of my go to shops for so many things. And it really doesn’t disappoint when it comes to gifts for parents to be. Here are some of my top picks…

Peter Rabbit Baby Record Book, £16.99

Mother's Day Gifts for Mums to Be record book

In this book, space is provided for photos, footprints and handprints, and a pocket at the back for important keepsakes from the baby’s first year. It is illustrated throughout with classic Beatrix Potter artwork, and just like the pregnancy journal, is something nice to look back on. I’m totally in love with the design of this one.

Milestone Baby Cards Set, Pack of 30, £12.50

Mother's Day Gifts for Mums to Be milestone cards

Baby milestone cards are such a great way to catch a baby’s “firsts”, so why not treat a momma to be to them before the baby arrives?! I really like the design of this set, and with a pack of 30 there is bound to be one for absolutely everything the new bubba does!

Baker & Taylor First Time Parent Book, £8.83

Mother's Day Gifts for Mums to Be parent book

If the mum to be is expecting for the first time, I’m sure she would appreciate this book. Whilst having a baby can be a very exciting time, it can also be quite daunting, so anything that can help with this is bound to go down well.

So everyone knows that eBay is great for pretty much everything. Unsurprisingly, they have lots of lovely mum to be gifts, and all at good prices. These would all make lovely gifts.

Happy Mother’s Day, I can’t wait to meet you plaque, £6.48

Mother's Day Gifts for Mums to Be plaque

How super cute is this?! I love the design and the fact that the year is also included on the plaque. It’s enough to make any momma excited about their up and coming new addition!

Handmade Mother’s Mothers day card from the Bump – Elephant, £3.40

Mother's Day Gifts for Mums to Be card

A card is definitely a must, and whilst eBay have quite a few designs, this one happened to be my favourite. Isn’t it just the sweetest?!

Mum to Be Pregnancy Charm Bracelet Gift, £4.30

Mother's Day Gifts for Mums to Be charm bracelet

I came across this charm bracelet and thought it would be lovely as a mum to be to be able to wear it during her pregnancy. A cute little reminder that her little bundle of joy is on its way!

Mamas and Papas

There are some great mum to be gifts from Mamas and Papas and all seem very practical. These are some I would happily receive myself!

Scan Frame – White, £15

Mother's Day Gifts for Mums to Be scan frame

I think this frame would be ideal for any pregnant momma, to show off her beautiful baby scan. It can be hung on a wall or popped onto a shelf for all to see.

Bloom and Blossom X Mamas & Papas Floral Woven Pant, £12.50

Mother's Day Gifts for Mums to Be woven pants

When you’re pregnant and have a growing baby bump, you just want to feel comfy. Which is why I just had to include these pretty floral print pants. They are made from super soft woven fabric, which is gentle on sensitive pregnant skin. These pants feature an elasticated under the bump waistband for ultimate comfort with a pink drawstring tie and pretty blue piping detail. They can be paired with a matching lace nursing top for a complete set.

Bloom and Blossom Indulgence Bath Oil, £18

Mother's Day Gifts for Mums to Be bath oil

This bath Oil is a luxurious blend of essential oils developed to ease tension, melt away stress and encourage a sense of tranquility – perfect for any momma to be! The unique blend of active ingredients is thought to help prevent stretch marks and reduce the appearance of scarring, whilst also providing a wonderfully calming fragrance. Perfect for when she just needs some time to relax.

So these are my top picks of Mother’s Day gifts for mums to be. I guess you could also give these items at a baby shower, or just as a treat before the baby is born.

So which of these do you like the most? Which do you think would be most appreciated by a momma to be? Let me know in the comments!

Until next time…

Jean xoxo
