October faves cover

So now we are in November, I thought I ought to share my October faves! Without further ado, here are my October faves.

1. #Talkpants campaign – afternoon tea

In October, I was very kindly invited by the people at the NSPCC to find out more about their #talkpants campaign. It was hosted at Cafe Rouge at The Mailbox and we enjoyed some lovely afternoon tea whilst hearing all about it. The campaign is all about teaching children to stay safe from abuse with the help of the friendly Pantasaurus. You can find out more about the campaign here.

2. Yummy chocolate

In October, my husband, baby girl and I took our first little holiday as a family of three. We didn’t venture far and stayed in a lovely converted barn that we had seen on Airbnb. Whilst there, we took a little trip into Tewkesbury. In Tewkesbury, we stumbled upon ‘Cafe au Chocolat‘ and definitely couldn’t resist a little nosey. We treated ourselves to some of their handmade chocolate and it was so good! I definitely need some more in my life.

3. Belo and Me Goodies

In October, I was very kindly sent some goodies from Belo and Me. What a fab selection! Included was: a teething mitt, you got this mama notepad, girls can be superheroes too a4 print, a dribble bib (pink flowers), and a pink floral dummy strap. They are some really useful bits for my baby girl as well as for me too, and I can’t wait to put that quote up in her nursery. There are definitely lots of other fab goodies on their website that I really want to get my hands onto.

4. Macmillan Coffee Morning

So if you read my recent blog post, you’ll know I hosted a coffee morning in October. It was because a few weeks ago, I was invited to my local Marks & Spencer to hear all about their links with Macmillan and it’s annual coffee morning. That inspired me to host my very own coffee morning! You can read more about it in the blog post, but let’s just say it was a fun event.

5. New Hair

So towards the end of October I visited my hairdresser and decided to go for something a little different. I opted for a graduated bob and must say I love it! It has done my hair the world of good having a decent amount chopped off and it is so nice having a different style. I’m really pleased with the colour too.

So these are my October faves. What were you loving last month? Let me know in the comments!

Until next time…

Jean xoxo
