Superdrug Selly Oak Opening and Mini Haul

Back in September, I was invited to the newest Superdrug store in Birmingham, opening at Selly Oak. The store is located in Selly Oak Shopping Park, which has only recently opened. Parking was straightforward, as well as being free, in a large car park. Once the car was sorted, I made my way in store eagerly. Looking Around the Store So I visited the store on the day of its opening. There was a lot…

    M&S Macmillan Coffee Morning

A few weeks ago, I was invited to my local Marks & Spencer to hear all about their links with Macmillan and it’s annual coffee morning. I’m aware of what a fantastic job Macmillan professionals do and knew of the coffee mornings they encourage people to host. Finding out about M&S and Macmillan M&S have supported Macmillan Cancer Support for a long time and sponsor their annual ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’. This event helps to raise crucial…

    October faves

So now we are in November, I thought I ought to share my October faves! Without further ado, here are my October faves. 1. #Talkpants campaign – afternoon tea In October, I was very kindly invited by the people at the NSPCC to find out more about their #talkpants campaign. It was hosted at Cafe Rouge at The Mailbox and we enjoyed some lovely afternoon tea whilst hearing all about it. The campaign is all about teaching children to stay safe from abuse with the help of the friendly Pantasaurus. You can find out more about the campaign here. 2. Yummy chocolate In October, my husband, baby girl and I…
