So it’s that time again – it’s monthly faves! September seemed to disappear in a flash, I swear time goes even quicker now I spend my days (and nights!) looking after my little bubba. So without further ado, let’s get onto September faves.
1. Rainbow Cake
This rainbow cake has to be one of my fave things I ate in September. I enjoyed it at my local M&S for their Macmillan coffee morning and it was rather yummy! Time was also spent at the store talking to staff about the other ways they support Macmillan and I will be sharing that in a blog post very soon. I enjoyed this cake with a nice cup of tea and it was a really lovely way to spend part of the morning.Â
2. Getting to know my girl
I feel that during September I was really able to get to know my baby girl. Of course I’ve spent time doing that since she was born in July, but with more time together just the two of us we have really clicked. I think it helps that she’s getting bigger, more independent, chattier, and those smiles she gives are just so lovely. She is now 12 weeks old so not a tiny newborn anymore! This pic shows her looking cosy on her House of Merino throw which I’ve shared with you guys before. My review of it will be coming soon!
 3. The September Degustabox
So I know the Degustabox often makes my favourites, but I just had to include it this month! I really loved the box as it was filled with so many of my favourite things, namely of the chocolate variety! I won’t go into too much detail as a review will be coming soon, but I do have a cheeky code for you guys. If you head here and enter the code ‘ASSEENONJEAN5’, you’ll get £5 off your first Degustabox, a FREE bonus items & FREE delivery*. If you want to know more about the Degustabox I share an overview in my first ever review of this subscription box. There is also more info on their website.
4. Being Pampered
This month I enjoyed being pampered at the new Superdrug which opened in Selly Oak, Birmingham. I had a complimentary manicure and went for this rather lovely red colour. The beautician was lovely and the new store was fab! I’ll go into more detail in a blog post soon, but the store is definitely worth a visit if you live locally.
5. ASOS Haul
In September I treated myself to a little ASOS haul. I can’t even remember the last time I got myself anything new so it was long overdue. I ended up buying an entire outfit with an Autumn/Winter vibe. I thought I might do a blog post about it so let me know in the comments if you fancy seeing that! Although not technically suitable for the colder weather, I couldn’t resist these lovely espadrilles.
So these would have to be my September faves. What were you loving last month? Let me know in the comments!
Until next time…
